Troupe de Tomate

Troupe de Tomate’s name is of French origin. A team of dancers in French are called a “troupe.” Troupe sounds like “troop” and although their meanings are different, I consider these dancing ladies a group of dancers AND a troop of soldiers fighting for change.

Transforming my shop logo into dancing tomatoes was to illustrate that this merch is for anyone and everyone. People can see themselves as a Dancing Tomato and know their purchase is going towards something good.

The issues we are fighting for might not impact us directly but they impact our neighbors, friends and our future. Today, next week and months from now, TDT is dedicated to working towards challenging our institutions, ourselves and each other for a more equitable world. These stickers have a purpose to raise funds for organizations YOU want to donate towards.

Organizations dedicated to solving issues we face globally, societally and individually through education, participation and direct action. Troupe de Tomate merch will remain permanent merchandise in efforts to continue to raise funds for organizations that focus on humanitarian issues, human rights issues and more.
